The English team (Mrs Pascal, Mrs Turpin, Mr Robert and Mrs Raynier) took the English, live ! students to Cilaos for a 3-day English-speaking camp. We were accomodated at the Collège Alsace Corré, where we got a very warm welcome from the Section Euro students and their teachers. They guided us through their school and an amazing exhibition of typical Cilaos embroidery made by the pupils. We did some activities in class and hiked together. We had a video conference with a Japanese lady. It was interesting to interview her about her life. We also had a football match, we visited the village, of course, we recorded our song for the planet (at last) and we spent the evenings playing cards or the werewolf. Mrs Turpin taught us a board game called Karé Dayon. Aiyana was very good at it !
She also nailed the vocabulary test because she had secretly taken notes during the hiking !! SMART !
The Cilaos Camp was very nice !
