On Thursday, April 9th 2026, we went to the theater to watch a play on Rosa
Parks at la Cité du volcan in Tampon. There were the euro English classes and
students from other classes. We were about 100 students!
We were accompanied by 5 English teachers :
Mrs MONTEGU, Mrs BOYER, Mrs CATTONI, Mrs VITRY and Mr FISHER
In the morning, we took the bus to Tampon. Once we arrived, we went in the
forest and ate breakfast.We then went into the theater and waited for everyone
from different middle schools and high schools to be seated.
When the play started they told the story of Rosa Parks and how segregation
was like in the 60s.
After the show, the actors presented themselves and did a surprise show, with
beautiful outfits and music.They also did a Q&A. It was very fun and
entertaining.
After that we took the bus for L’horloge and ate there.
At the end of the day, we went back to school by bus.
