We went by train and boat to this island which is famous because of the presence of Quokkas, a little animal like a kangaroo\u00a0! It\u2019s very cute, like you can see on photos but we\u2019re not allowed to touch them or feed them. This animal is in the origin of the name of the island because at the the beginning we called the place \u00abRats nest\u00bb because the Quokkas look like a rat and over time it became \u00abRottnest\u00bb\u00a0! First of all, Rottnest Island was a prison for the Aboriginals but today it just a fabulous island to visit with all the beaches. There is a turquoise ocean with little fish but the water was cold ! We\u00a0 had lunch next to dangerous snakes and quokkas and after some issues, everybody went back home\u00a0! Nous avons pris le train et un ferry pour aller sur cette ile qui est r\u00e9put\u00e9e pour sa pr\u00e9sence de Quokkas, un tout petit animal semblable au kangourou\u00a0! Comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos, ils sont extr\u00eamement mignons mais il est interdit de les nourrir et de les caresser. L\u2019origine du nom de cette ile vient aussi de cet animal car \u00e0 la base, on appellait cette \u00eele \u00abRats nest\u00bb (le nid de rats) d\u00fb au fait que les quokkas ressemblent \u00e0 un rat et au fur et \u00e0 mesure c\u2019est devenu \u00abRottnest\u00bb ! Avant, cette \u00eele est utilis\u00e9e pour emprisonner les Aborigenes mais aujourd\u2019hui on la visite pour ces nombreuses plages. L\u2019oc\u00e9an est turquoise, il y a plein de petits poissons mais l\u2019eau est glac\u00e9e\u00a0! Nous avons ensuite d\u00e9jeun\u00e9s \u00e0 cote de serpents dangeureux et les fameux quokkas et apr\u00e8s quelques impr\u00e9vus, tout le monde est r\u00e9ntr\u00e9 chez soi\u00a0!
