Friday\nnight we went to the Fringe festival and I went on the Kamikaze ride\nand the trampoline ride. (picture 1) It was so much fun. It’s a very\npopular event in Australia and there were a lot of people attending.\nIt was in the city and the main street was decorated for the occasion\nwith lots of lights and street shows. (picture 2) Then we went to an\naboriginal documentary show, it was a dark room with lots of lights\non the walls. It was very informative and beautiful to see. (picture\n3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday\nmorning was relaxing time afterwards we went to see the giant Buddha\nwich is in Sellicks Hills, it was very impressive. The place is very\ntraditionnal and there were temples next to it. (picture 4 and 5)\nAfter that we went down to the beach known as Willunga. It used to be\na port with a long jetty that is no longer existing, all that is left\nis a couple of posts what use to be holding up the jetty. (picture 6)\nIn the cliffs you can see some holes wich used to be shipping storage\nwhere sailers used to stock goods. (picture 7) While we were there a\nwedding was taking place in front of jetty ruins. We saw the bride\ncoming down the stairs linking arms with her dad, it was very\nromantic. In the evening we welcomed all the family members for\ndinner, it was really cool to have so much people in the same place\nas they were coming from Sydney to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today\nwe went babysitting to my host family friends house; their new baby’s\nname was Austin, he was so cute. They are new to parentshood and\ndon’t really have time to spend together, so my host mother gave them\na voucher to have brunch together while we were looking after their\nchild. When they came back we went to Glenelg, a beautiful place to\nvisit with lots of things to see. (picture 8)My host sister and I\nwent on the giant ferris wheel and when we were at the top it was a\nbreathtaking view. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vendredi\nsoir nous sommes all\u00e9s au \u201cFringe festival\u201d et j’ai fait\nplusieurs man\u00e8ges dont le \u201cKamikaze\u201d et j’ai aussi fait du\ntrampoline. C’\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s amusant. C’est un \u00e9v\u00e8nement assez\npopulaire en Australie et il y avait donc pleins de gens. C’\u00e9tait\ndans le centre-ville et surtout sur dans la rue principale qui \u00e9tait\nd\u00e9cor\u00e9e pour l’occasion avec beaucoup de lumi\u00e8res et il y avait\ndes spectacles de rues un peu partout. Puis on est all\u00e9 \u00e0 un\nspectacle de lumi\u00e8re sur l’histoire des Aborig\u00e8nes. Cela se passait\ndans une pi\u00e8ce sombre avec pleins de jeux de lumi\u00e8res sur les murs.\nJ’en ai appris beaucoup et c’\u00e9tait magnifique \u00e0 voir. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samedi\nmatin j’ai pu me relaxer et apr\u00e8s cela on est all\u00e9 voir une statue\ng\u00e9ante repr\u00e9sentant Boudha qui se trouve \u00e0 Sillick hills, c’\u00e9tait\nassez impressionnant. Cet endroit est plut\u00f4t traditionnel et on\npouvait visiter des temples qui se trouvaient juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la\nstatue. Ensuite on est all\u00e9 \u00e0 la plage, Willunga. Autrefois c’\u00e9tait\nun port avec une longue jet\u00e9e qui n’existe plus aujourd’hui, en\neffet il ne reste plus que les piliers de l’ancien pont. Dans les\nfalaises on peut apercevoir des sortes trous qui \u00e9taient auparavant\ndes lieux de stockage pour les vendeurs qui ramenaient toutes sortes\nde biens. Pendant qu’on \u00e9tait sur la plage on a pu assister \u00e0 un\nmariage qui se tenait face \u00e0 la mer et aux ruines. On a pu voir la\nmari\u00e9e descendre les escaliers au bras de son p\u00e8re, c’\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s\nromantique. Le soir on a accueilli des membres de la famille pour\nd\u00eener, c’\u00e9tait vraiment chouette d’avoir autant de gens au m\u00eame\nendroit et certains d’entre eux venaient de Sydney. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aujourd’hui on est all\u00e9 faire du Babysitting chez des amis de ma famille d’accueil. Leur nouveau-n\u00e9 s’appelle Austin, il est trop mignon. Ce sont de nouveaux parents et ils n’ont pas beaucoup de temps \u00e0 passer juste tous les deux, donc la m\u00e8re dans ma famille d’accueil leur a offert un bon pour un brunch pendant qu’on surveille leur enfant. Quand ils sont rentr\u00e9s on est all\u00e9 \u00e0 Glenelg, un endroit magnifique \u00e0 visiter avec pleins de belles choses \u00e0 voir. Avec la plus jeune soeur dans la famille d’accueil, Charli, on est all\u00e9es dans la grande roue et quand on \u00e9tait tout en haut on a eu une vue \u00e0 couper le souffle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
