Voyage à Londres des élèves de Terminale en classe européenne
LONDON, March 2019
The European class’ travel
On March of this school year, 12th grade students of Saint Paul IV high went abroad to visit London. These thirty pupils belong to the European class, in which history and geography are taught in English. It’s an optional subject confirmed by an oral exam during the A’ Levels.
Visits were organised in the afternoon: The Tower of London next to the tower bridge, the National Gallery and the natural history museum, Camden Market, the Changing of the Guard in front of the Buckingham palace (in the rain and a cold wind!!), Big Ben, Westminster abbey, the City and the famous gherkin… All these monuments appear amazing when you’re at the top of the London Eye!
Three travel days were devoted to the visit of Oxford, Brighton and Windsor castle. The most expected and amazing visit has been the Harry Potter studios: you can walk in the banquet hall, the railway station and in the wizards’ village… Just feel as you’re gone be part of the next movie!!!
Before leaving England, we spent a day in Brighton in wet and windy weather. But, the city is so charming that we appreciated it very much despite the weather.
There was a good / friendly vibes inside the group, and between the students and the three teachers (Mr Ortolé, Mr Lallemand and Mrs Bravo). It has been just fun, pleasure to discover a town, a country, a history and a culture.
