LLCER class 2025-2026 : « Entering Hell »

« Et si nous faisions une chanson inspirée par ce que nous étudions en cours de Spécialité LLCER ? » Nous sommes partis d’une idée simple qui  s’est transformée en une grande aventure…

La classe de LLCER 2026 est heureuse de vous présenter la chanson « Entering Hell », ainsi que son clip inspiré par les nouvelles d’Edgar Allan Poe.

“What if we wrote a song inspired by what we’re studying in LLCER class?” We started with a simple idea that turned into a great adventure.

The LLCER Class is delighted to present the song and its music video inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s short stories.

Ce projet s’inscrit dans le contexte de l’étude en anglais d’un recueil de nouvelles d’Edgar Allan Poe. Le projet se voulant fédérateur avant tout, il a fait appel à tous les talents et toutes les compétences des élèves de la Première LLCER (2025 – 2026) pour mettre en musique un texte que nous avons créé sur l’univers d’Edgar Allan Poe, en prenant en compte les différentes contraintes et exigences musicales, les thématiques et les spécificités de l’écriture en langue étrangère. Les élèves ont fait un travail remarquable pour réaliser le clip vidéo présenté.

This project was part of a study, conducted in English, of a collection of short stories by Edgar Allan Poe.  As the project was intended above all to bring the students together, it drew on all the talents and skills of the LLCER students (2025-2026) to set to music a text we created, based on the world of Edgar Allan Poe, taking into account the various musical constraints and requirements, as well as the themes and specific characteristics of writing in a foreign language. My students did a remarkable job producing the video clip on show.

La classe a su effectuer un travail collaboratif, opérer des choix judicieux et finaliser ce beau projet en respectant l’espace d’expression de chacun (musiciens en herbes, auteurs, comédiens, réalisateurs et monteurs vidéo)

The class worked well together, making sensible choices and bringing this wonderful project to a successful conclusion, while ensuring that everyone had a chance to express themselves (musicians in the bud, playwrights, actors, directors and video makers).
