Théâtre en anglais : Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

What is the play about?

The Thursday 2nd May in the “City of Volcano”, we saw a play “Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde”. Dr Jekyll was played by Auguste Voulton and Mr Hyde by William Boutet. The play is about a crazy man who wants to divide himself in two to be better. (Layna – 4ème LCE)

Eléonore Lamothe plays Miss Lanyon and Aurélien Gouas plays Mr. Utterson. The Company is “Théâtre en anglais”. Dr Jekyll is a man obsessed with his dual personality, he develops a drug to separate the bad versus the good : it created Mr Hyde. (Maxime – 4ème LCE)

It is about a scientist and his sinister alter ego, staged with lightning, sound and sets to highlight the psychological conflict. (Kylian – 4ème LCE)
