We went to Germany from March 29 to April 5, 2025. During this trip we did many projects.
First, we did a Rally of democracy on Monday. When we did the rally, we were in a group with our correspondent. In the school there were many QR codes and we had to look for the QR codes and scan them. When we scanned the QR codes we had to listen to a recording on the theme of Democracy. When we finished listening to the recording, we had to answer questions about it.
When we finished answering the questions, we looked at the ranking and if we were first, we won.
We did an other project on Friday. We went to an arts class and we did two things there.
First we were in a group of six people and we had to think in groups about a word that best represented Democracy. After this we wrote our word on a piece of paper and we melted colored pencils on the word and then cut it. The final touch was to take the word and glue it on black paper.
The second art project was painting a piece of a puzzle. It was a project that we did alone. We had to take a canvas with the pattern of the puzzle piece and copy it on the canvas. When we finished this, we took paint and we started to paint the canvas with our patterns, our inspiration and our ideas. When we finished, we gathered all the canvas to make the puzzle and at the end we had a beautiful puzzle for Democracy.
Finally, in Reunion island when the German students came in November 2024 we did a project for an anti-bullying campaign. We were in groups and each group did a drawing on anti-bullying. After this, we did a survey to select one drawing and the winning drawing was put on t-shirts. We got the t-shirts and gave them to our correspondents.
