Bilan de la semaine.
Les 4 groupes (2 élèves polonais, 3 élèves norvégiens, 3 élèves portugais et 4 élèves italiens, accompagnés de 9 enseignants) sont arrivés samedi (pour les plus chanceux) ou dimanche, puis tout le monde était prêt lundi matin pour attaquer le 3e échange (LTA) du projet Erasmus+ iCulture.
Après une introduction par Mme la Proviseure et la présentation de la semaine, un petit Icebreaker a permis aux élèves de commencer à se connaître. Un tour de la ville de Saint-Louis et de quelques emplacements emblématiques a terminé la matinée.

L’après-midi, les élèves ont présenté des vidéos ou diaporamas sur une icône théâtrale de leur pays, puis sur un chanson traditionnelle avec explications. Enfin, ils ont écrit les paroles de chansons en rapport avec les thématiques soulevées par leur apport culturel.
Mardi, ce fût la découverte du volcan, en passant par le point de vue de Nez de Bœuf, une descente dans l’enclos puis une visite de la Cité du Volcan.
Mercredi matin, un premier atelier sur l’écriture d’une scène type « jeu de plateau ». Les élèves ont dû inventer une scène complète, basée sur l’improvisation puis discutée et améliorée tous ensemble au fur et à mesure.
Une après-midi récréative sous le soleil a permis à ceux qui le souhaitaient de se mettre au snorkeling dans le lagon de Saint-Pierre https://youtu.be/7m5N7U5L-zo .

Jeudi, une grosse journée de travail, avec au matin, la suite de l’atelier de la veille, mais avec l’objectif de finir la scène et de la filmer. Ainsi, l’après-midi, les élèves ont monté les vidéos de cette scène.
Une petite surprise les attendait en fin de journée, avec un karaoké (et on ne va pas cacher qu’ils ont majoritairement adoré cette partie !).

Pour terminer la semaine, vendredi matin, tout le groupe a pu profiter d’une superbe vue sur Cilaos depuis la fenêtre des Makes avant de faire un peu d’exercices dans les arbres : de l’accrobranche aux Makes.
En fin d’après-midi, les Portugais et les Polonais ont dû se préparer pour leur retour (avion le soir même) tandis que les autres élèves ont découvert les vidéos de la veille et ont terminé en participant à un brainstorming « points forts de la semaine ».
Et le samedi, ce fût au tour des Italiens et des Norvégiens de rejoindre leur maison…
Un grand merci à tous les élèves, les parents et les collègues qui ont participé à cette semaine, qui ont permis que tout se déroule très bien et grâce à qui 21 personnes repartent avec une image très positive de la Réunion (et qui auraient bien voulu rester plus longtemps).

Review of the week.
The 4 groups (2 Polish students, 3 Norwegian students, 3 Portuguese students and 4 Italian students, accompanied by 9 teachers) arrived on Saturday (for the lucky ones) or Sunday, then everyone was ready Monday morning to start the 3rd exchange (LTA) of the Erasmus+ iCulture project.
After an introduction by the Headmistress and the presentation of the week, a little Icebreaker allowed the students to get to know each other. A tour of the city of Saint-Louis and some emblematic locations ended the morning.
In the afternoon, the students presented videos or slideshows on a theatrical icon of their country, then on a traditional song with explanations. Finally, they wrote the lyrics of four songs related to the themes raised by their cultural contribution.

Tuesday, it was the discovery of the volcano, passing by the viewpoint of Nez de Bœuf, a descent into the enclosure then a visit to the museum « Cité du Volcan ».
Wednesday morning, a first workshop on writing a « board game » type scene. The students had to invent a complete scene, based on improvisation and then discussed and improved together as they went along.
A recreational afternoon under the sun allowed those who wished to go snorkeling in the lagoon of Saint-Pierre.

Thursday, a big day of work, with in the morning, the continuation of the workshop of the day before, but with the objective of finishing the scene and filming it. Thus, in the afternoon, the students edited the videos of this scene.
A little surprise awaited them at the end of the day, with karaoke (and we’re not going to hide that most of them loved this part!).

To end the week, on Friday morning, the whole group was able to enjoy a superb view of Cilaos from the « la fenêtre (window) des Makes » before doing some exercises in the trees: « accrobranche » at Les Makes.
At the end of the afternoon, the Portuguese and the Poles had to prepare for their return (plane the same evening) while the other students discovered the videos of the day before and ended by participating in a brainstorming « highlights/what they liked or not of the week ».
And on Saturday, it was the turn of the Italians and Norwegians to go home…
A big thank you to all the students, parents and colleagues who took part in this week, who made it possible for everything to go very well and thanks to whom 21 people left with a very positive image of Reunion (and who would have liked stay longer).
