Rencontre avec Anne Rearick
Une Photographe Reporter Américaine au Lycée Bellepierre
Dans le cadre de la semaine de la presse 2019, L'Atelier Canopé et le CLEMI (Centre de Liaison de l'Enseignement des Médias et de l'Information) de l'Académie de la Réunion ont proposé l'intervention d'Anne Rearick, photographe reporter Américaine, en lien avec l'Association Solidarités et Culture.
Le lycée Bellepierre, inscrit à la Semaine de la Presse 2019, a eu la chance de pouvoir accueillir la photographe lundi 25 mars. Elle est intervenue dans la classe de seconde européenne dans le cadre de leur cours d'Histoire Géographie en anglais enseigné par Mme Sénécal-Fasquel.
Les élèves avaient préalablement fait des recherches au CDI sur le parcours et le travail de la photographe reporter, l'agence de presse Vu pour laquelle elle travaille, la Galerie Clémentine de la Ferronière où elle expose ses oeuvres ainsi que sur l'Afrique du Sud, très présente dans les photos d'Anne Rearick.
Les échanges avec la classe lors de la rencontre ont été très riches, parfois émouvants, toujours très enrichissants, et ont été très appréciés par les élèves, leurs professeurs d'Histoire-Géographie et Documentalistes et par l'artiste elle-même.
Les recherches et la rencontre se sont déroulées entièrement en anglais, bravo aux élèves pour leur curiosité intellectuelle et leur niveau d'anglais !
