Dans le cadre du programme ERASMUS+, des enseignants et personnels du Lycée Professionnel Roches Maigres ont eu la chance de participer à une activité de mobilité à Dublin, en Irlande du 11 au 27 octobre 2019. Ce voyage avait pour but l’apprentissage linguistique ainsi que l’ouverture à l’Europe.
Pendant deux semaines, les participants ont suivi des cours d’anglais en sein d’une école, Ulearn English School et ont pu s’imprégner de la culture du pays hôte.
Ce séjour s’est ponctué de nombreuses visites de la ville de Dublin, de ses monuments, mais aussi de ses environs. Un week-end à Belfast a également permis de découvrir l’histoire et l’actualité mouvementée du nord de l’Irlande et de partir sur les traces du trône de Fer…
Thanks to the ERASMUS+ program, some teachers and staffs of Roches Maigres Vocational High School had the chance to travel to Dublin, in Ireland from the 11th to the 27th of October 2019. The purpose of this trip was to learn a foreign language but also to open our mind to Europe. For two weeks, we studied in Ulearn English School and discovered the host country culture.
In addition, this trip went on with the visit of Dublin city and its monuments, but also of its surroundings. On a not so bloody Sunday, we travelled to Belfast to discover the eventful history and actuality of the north of Ireland and, because we knew nothing about it, we walked on the tracks of the iron throne. We were filled with wonder with the Giant Causeway, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Eventually, we went back to Reunion Island, as winter was coming in Dublin.
