En cette fin d’année 2019-2020 si mouvementée, nous sommes tout de même heureux d’annoncer que le lycée a obtenu le label ‘Eco-lycée’ de la Fondation Teragir. En effet, nous ne pouvions pas prétendre à la labellisation académique cette année, car les commissions étaient annulées (crise COVID19). Cela ne nous a pas découragé, l’équipe a poursuivi le travail et complété le dossier de labellisation nationale Eco-école. Et, mi-juin, nous recevons une réponse positive… Cela vient saluer l’investissement...

Une bonne nouvelle tout de même en cette période difficile : en récompense de l’incessant travail fourni par plusieurs enseignants (notamment en cours d’anglais, d’allemand et de français), et en liaison directe avec notre administration et notre direction, le lycée a obtenu le label eTwinning School cette fin d’année. Friday 6 march by Philumena This friday was the second day at Rottnest Island. Girls and boys slept separately, in an « house » with 3 bedrooms for 4 people. We woke up very early in the morning : some of the girls went to the beach nearby our shack to see the sunrise. I didn’t saw the sunrise because I was asleep but I went to the beach at 6h30. This Thursday, we followed our buddies in class to learn a bit more of the Australian system, it wasn’t so nice because in all the classes the students were not working much (playing on there laptops, not listening to the teachers…) even in sport they were not very concentrated but it was still fun. Article de Julie Today we went to the swimming  carnival, we took the bus to because the competition took place outside the School. In Perth Modern School all the students belong to different houses: the yellow house is  » Downing », the green one  » Parsons », blue  » Brown » and the red one  » Sampson ». So all the houses compete against each other in this competition, the students have to swim fifty meters and use different type of swimming like butterfly, the breaststroke, the backstroke, or the crawl.
